I am sharing here part of the email update I sent to Icing Smiles after my cake delivery, expressing how I felt about this latest "call-to-action":
"As usual, my heart was filled with joy because of the wonderful energy I felt in that house when we brought the cake.
A child's smile is priceless! At the very end of my visit, Lovina said thank you to me and she nodded with a big smile when I asked her if she was happy. She seemed to be wanting to "hug" her cake too. :-)
Thanks to Icing Smiles for giving siblings of sick children this kind of attention and love they so need/deserve.
I thank Icing Smiles for the opportunities given to Sugar Angels like myself - to be able to help and provide families of sick children a reason to "smile" in our own little ways."
